Arabic dancing

Hi Ben,
I really wish I could be there during this very hard time with your family. Pam always told me about you and we both came to know you as her "google brother!" Know that your family is in my prayers. I am thankful that God put your sister in my way.
in Christ,

PAM DARNELL! This was how I always greeted Pam. My best friends lived in Decker for a while and so did she with Elizabeth. So, on my way in and out, I would always top by to hang out and talk. And, there was Pam, always welcoming. Then, she moved to Myers and took over the room that I had last semester! “So you are my next door neighbor!” I welcomed her. It was great to have her move next door because that meant I could always stop by and talk! “Knock, knoch, neighbor’s visit!” I would say. She would be sitting on the bed, her back turned to the door, reading some public relations book. We would talk about our days, and she would listen so attentively and encourage me. I would always give her a hug and we made it a tradition to always give each other hugs every time we saw each other- no matter where that was! Then, Pam became my leader as I led a bible study. We would meet often and talk. She was so open, so understanding and so encouraging. I cannot remember a time when she would turn my visits down! Last semester, she moved to third floor Decker, living next door to my three best friends! So, of course, I knocked there again. And, I taught her how to dance Arabic music. She loved dancing in the tower room with all the other girls in the hall. It is hard to find a great dancer who is willing to try any moves. If anyone was up for the task, it was always Pam. I have wanted to cry thinking about Pam, but every time I think of her, I really recall all of those times we hung out, and I can see Pam smiling. It is just Pam. I know that she is dancing with Jesus, the source of all this joy she has always shared with me.
