Remembering Pamela

A place for friends of Pamela Darnell to share their memories

darn it. Pam was such a great example of genuine care and kindness. i don't know how she did it. how she cared about people and made them feel so completely special, respected, and appreciated. i know that it was the love of Christ working through her and I'm just grateful that she gave me that glimpse of my savior. in mulling over this absurd and harsh loss with a friend we had similar feelings.  first we just felt so sorry for everybody on earth that didn't get to know Pam.  what an awful thing for them. and then we were both grateful that we could say we knew her.  i don't know why i should be so lucky to have known that girl. it's clearly just god's grace, i didn't do anything to deserve it and i certainly don't want to wait a life time to hang out with her again. but i think I'll remember making 400 cookies with her and our meticulous system of putting them in Ziploc baggies. and i think I'll remember making huge signs for campus ministry events that contains minorly offensive language with her.  i really hope i always remember the mad dash from dinner in the gardner-webb cafeteria to graphic design class with her. i know she'll be remembered and cherished.
