Pamela Continues to Touch Lives

Pamela laughed her way into my life in the fall of 2004 when she
agreed to spend a semester working with the University and Media
Relations Office at GWU - yet I feel as though I have known her my
entire existence.

Her smile had enough energy to power the entire world. Whenever she
would come in to work she spread hey joy to everyone around - if you
were in a bad mood, all you had to do was to look at Pamela.

She always had a way to make you feel like you were the greatest and
most important person in the universe. Several times I would
compliment her on a project that she was working on -and almost
without fail, I ended up walking away from her feeling like I was the
reason for the projects' success.

I witnessed her love for others on a daily basis - she was always
concerned with giving her life to others... and she did. She loved
life and she gave that life to the utmost.

Today, when I think of Pamela -I think of how -Jesus was alive in
her ... everyday! She was an inspiration and an example. I have a
daughter, Kathryn - and my prayer is that when she in an adult, she
will be like Pamela.

Knowing Pamela, and having the privilege to have worked with her at
GWU has made me a better person.

Pamela - Thank you for sharing your life with me and my staff. You
are missed.
