Pamela rocks my socks off!
In the last few days so many things have reminded me of Pamela. In fact,
the phrase "rocks my socks off" is something I picked up from her. I have
so many good memories of Pamela. I remember the first time I meet her when
she was showing of hers and Elizabeth's new Mr. Potatoe head blow-up chair.
I remember her leading my Bible study my freshman year. She saw potential
in me that I had trouble seeing in myself. I remember instant dance
parties, crazy videos, and encouraging letters. I remember the game that
she made up called the question game. She always had some of the funniest
answers. I can see her in heaven now smiling, laughing, and doing something
random that no one expects. She taught me a lot about how to live. I think
that she was an example to us all. Though she wasn't perfect, she was one
of the most amazing people that I have ever had the priveledge of knowing.
Her death doesn't make any sense to me now and I doubt it ever will, but it
has taught me so much about the soveriegnity of God. I pray for comfort
for each of us who had the joy of knowing Pamela who will miss her dearly.
