Christmas Prayers

Dear Darnells,

I want to apologize because haven't taken the time or really felt up to
writing to you or Pamela. Even in this Christmas season, I know that
the letters and prayers probably do not pour in as much as they once
did, but I want you to know that I have not forgotten your family or
Pam.

I printed out a couple of the pics from the website and I'm going to
frame them with some verses "made for you by Pamela" with construction
paper and glitter. She sent me these verses--Philippians 1:3-6--when I
was going through a rough time, but of course she paraphrased it and
inserted my name in the verses to make it that much more personal. She
was amazing!

Earlier on this semester I visited Pam's grave, where I met Walter and
to my surprise found Mrs. Darnell as well. I literally stopped in my
tracks because I saw so much of a physical resemblance of Pam in her
mom. It was almost like seeing Pam again, and tears poured down my
face.

Please know that I continually pray for your family, and have been
especially during this holiday. I have neve had a friend who was such
a pure example of Christ on this earth. Her every breath glorified her
heavenly Father and every chance she could get she shined her light for
Him. Thank you so much for raising such an amazing woman. I only hope
that I can be like Pam and love people with my Father's love, an
unconditional love.

I love you all and I love Pam. She still serves as a huge impact in my
life. Know that you are in my prayers and I hope you have had a Merry
Christmas.

Rachel Lloyd
