Reflections on these two years

Dear sweet Pamela....It has been two years. Two rocky, bumpy years of up days and down days. Sad, tearful days, and then those wonderful days when giggles just seem to bubble up from nowhere with memories of you. I miss you so. Thankfully, that giggly, warm, loving feeling that we share still gives me a warm, cuddly feeling when I think of you.

I have been able to share time and stories and laughs with some of your wonderful friends recently. I truly treasure your friends. I will share some of those stories on here soon. You are nowhere near forgotten, Honey! I am so lifted up by those people who love you and honor you and miss you right along with me. Especially Ed and Ben. They have been my wonderful crutches when I have needed them. We have loved and supported each other through it all, and our hearts that were broken together are gently healing together.

I am doing better this year than last. Trying to move forward....some days gracefully, some days not so, but making good progress. Just putting one foot in front of the other, as they say. You are right here in my heart every step of the way, Pam. Some days we skip along easily, and some days we drag behind, but you and I always move forward together. We will make it.
